Sailing

There is a local sailing school Roseland Paddle and Sail where lessons can be booked.  We own a Cornish Shrimper (a 19' gaff rigged sailing boat) that we race regularly on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings.  We are sometimes short of crew and guests that might be interested (don't worry crewing a shrimper is very easy) should let Tim know.  For those wishing to cruise the area the Shrimper can be hired for half and full day sails with the skipper.  Up to 4 people can be accommodated, prices are £75 for a half day and £150 for a full day including one of Ami's famous picnic lunches.

If you bring your own sailing dinghy we can arrange temporary membership of the local sailing club and use of the club quay (August is sometimes difficult) to store your boat and launch at all states of tide (this is only a 350m walk from Nearwater).
