St Mawes Castle a must for all those visiting St Mawes. Built by Henry VIII the castle was briefly a royalist stronghold during the English civil war however it fell quickly to the roundheads.

Pendennis Castle on the opposite side of the of the bay guarding the approaches to Falmouth. 

The National Maritime Museum Falmouth, a great day out , and fun to get to via The Ferry from St Mawes
