

World Famous Local Gardens
Lamorran Gardens beautiful gardens in St Mawes overlooking the sea.
The Eden Project visit the now world famous Mediterranean and Tropical biomes. There is always lots going on at the Eden project and it is only a 45 minute drive away. 
The Lost Gardens of Heligan Great gardens that were lost and then rediscovered and restored in the 1990s. Only a 30 minute drive away.
Trelissick Gardens A national trust garden and magnificent house just a 10 minute drive and a short trip across the river Fal via the King Harry Ferry away.
Trewithen Gardens An historic private estate internationally renowned for its collection of magnolias and camellias. Also boasting 24 'Champion Trees', woodland walks, 18th Century estate house, Tea Shop and highly prized plants from the on-site nursery. About 30 minutes drive away.
Caerhays Castle and Gardens Along the coast near Goran Haven, well worth a visit especially in the Spring. The combination of its coastal location, undulating topography, mild climate, sheer scale (over 100 acres) and incredible plant collection is quite simply beyond duplication.
Glendurgan Gardens another National Trust Garden. Superb subtropical garden, with special interest for families. It is a valley garden with views over the Helford River and coastline. Contains a great laurel maze and 'Giant's Stride' maypole. Leads down to a tranquil sandy beach and rock pools at Durgan.
Trebah Gardens 26 acres of plants from all over the world, particularly famous for its hydrangeas. Gardens run down to a beach on the Helford river.
Carwinion Gardens - The garden is open all year round and there is always something to impress visitors or catch the eye. Visitors can wander among towering dicksonia antarctica, cryptomaria japonica, chusan palms and impressive gunnera as well as colourful rhododendrons and camelias.
In early spring the garden, charming in its unmanicured nature, erupts with carpets of primroses. At Christmas rhododendrons start flowering and there are plenty of early camellias followed by a large patch of wild blue anemones, snowdrops and hellebores.
